Public Safety

The mission of the Panorama City Neighborhood Council Public Safety Committee is to partner with our community to enhance a safe living, working and healthy environment.  We also promote individual responsibility and cooperative commitment.

We have put on CERT (Community Emergency Response Team) as well as Spanish CERT classes for the community in conjunction with LAFD & LAPD, North Hills East NC, North Hills West NC and Mission Hills NC.  Our committee takes part in many activities informing the community about health, emergency preparedness and our joint support with LAPD, National Night Out community event.

• You can form a Neighborhood Watch group around any geographic area, block, apartment complex, or business area.

• Neighborhood Watch groups are not vigilantes. They are extra eyes and ears for reporting crime and helping neighbors.

• Any community resident can join whether you’re young, old, single, married, renter, or home owner.
